Richard Mathews, Managing Partner

Prior to establishing MHB, Mr. Mathews was CEO of Mincom, Australia’s largest enterprise software company, increasing the share price from $2.50 to $8.77 in a two-year period. He drove the 2007 sale of the company to U.S. private equity group Francisco Partners, achieving liquidity for longstanding shareholders and a return of 351% in only two years. Mr. Mathews previously worked for Deloitte and Cadbury confectionery before buying into the New Zealand distributorship of enterprise resource planning software vendor J.D. Edwards in 1994. Starting as General Manager, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 1998. After successfully managing the sale of the distributorship to J.D. Edwards in 2000, Mr. Mathews was appointed Vice President and General Manager of J.D. Edwards Australia/New Zealand. After strong results he was appointed Senior Vice President, International. Mr. Mathews has been involved in buying and selling over 25 technology companies to date.
